7 Course Meal

Gee... I woke up in the morning looking my mom, can't find her. Not here, not there, not anywhere at home. Turns out she escaped the province and went to Fort. Hmm... leaving me with nothing to do at home. Gee. It's mother's day! Oh... it's also my mom's birthday today! Anyway...

I also woke up feeling energy-less... not the type that relates to calories and mitochondria but uhm... I didn't feel anything exciting, I felt like a sleeping tiger, dozing dragon. Much like a can of Coke with no fizz.

So I thought I'd do something to cheer me up and make the day fun... Mini project for today was make me a T-Shirt with this design...

So off I went to SM North EDSA to make it happen... and read a book with a bottle of iced tea on a corner for a couple of hours. Off I went roaming the isles of the department store... looking for a good fitting nice simple white shirt, simple and smart.

Gee, I was looking left and right while walking down the isle of the department store... looking around and I saw someone. Gee. It was a salesman of the department store who was looking at me with a soft smile, with his face a bit angled downwards, but with his romantic eyes piercing through me. I died.

I don't know who he was, but he had the mix of something that just had that power to knock me off. Strange. I blushed, I felt torpe, I looked the other way, I looked at him back, he was still looking at me, I felt happy, I felt energized, I couldn't stop my feet from walking, I took my last look of his eyes looking at mine, and so I escaped like a mother who wanted to escape the probinsya.

That guy, he just, he recharged me with one look. I consciously felt a rush of blood on the right side of my stomach and me... couldn't stop smiling after.

And after reading my book, I kept myself busy with the great furniture haven that is now at the SM North EDSA Carpark building.

It was a great place, a quiet place for people to roam around and see great furnitures. And also I saw a lot of great looking people. The place felt romantic on a not very busy afternoon. I often found myself playing a staring game with guys I found interesting in that place, not for the sake of anything sexual, it was just for fun.

So I decided to drop by Fort area to have dinner with mom, gee... I'm still so busog over that 7 course meal at Chef Laudico Bistro Filipino
2 Appetizers
3 Main courses
2 Deserts

It was amazing, I love it.

And on my way home, at the FX... there was a nice looking guy who sat beside me, I didn't know who he was or what he does for a living, he looked fine... looked good actually, felt like he was in his mid 20s. But in my moment of being alone that moment, I found comfort having someone's legs brushing mine, someone's shoulder's beside mine, his elbows resting on my knee, someone's forearms brushing mine...

And through those moments, I just closed my eyes, being very aware that that fantasy will last as long as the ride. Enjoying that awesome feeling of being at peace and relaxed, an awesome feeling I feel when I find myself beside someone I can enjoy the moment with.

I closed my eyes, savored the moments and took deep breaths that filled my lungs and filled my heart with happiness through a simple imagination in my head that... well... someone is beside me, and as simple as the situation was, it made me really feel good.

I don't know if he was connecting with me, but well, not knowing was fine with me.

Thus, despite with all them beliefs and rules, them images and impressions... I'm still someone who appreciates the presence, that feeling.

A night where my stomach was filled with great gastronomy, my brain filled with advices and ideas for the future, and my heart filled with something not really real, filled with the imagination that felt pretty damn romantic.

To Kiss

Just when I woke up on a morning when I felt genuinely confident to say "I am okay"...

Rararhoahoawhourlostzhrohaarrrawexarhayroah!!!

Okay okay, skip the hulahwurtsalhalastahrahvinskytyalemiskazckaya... and to KISS... (Keep it Short and Stupid Simple), all that I felt and all that I wanted to say when you popped on my screen was...

"Gee... I missed you"

"... can I invite you for coffee or something?"

CP PC

Plan B

Gee. All day I have been brainstorming on a Plan B since this Paris plan is feeling very very uncertain all of a sudden.

Among the other choices in the still blurry clouds of ideas:
Management Trainee in USA
Work in Pilipinas
Further Studies...

This one I chose...

Career Plan B : Work on a Cruise ship
Seems like the almost perfect plan B since it is...

Something that will allow me to travel the world, again be submerged in the cultural diversity of the world, and of course, see the multifaceted situations that other people are in to. A 10 month contract would be enough for an appetizer, if it seems that I will enjoy, then I'll go for another bite.

All day I have been researching on what to expect, if it would be fit for me, and if I will still be alive after. Well, I'll be stuck in a cruise ship for ten months... and at the end of the day, I realized that I just need to bring a small netbook computer and I will be fine.

There will be no downside, mishaps will all be in the mind, and prayers and brains will be what I'd need to pack in my luggage for this. Working 10 hours a day, 7 days a week for 10 months.
With regards to the social circle and professional relations I will be having, and also considering that this will be culturally diverse, I can play Mr. Diplomatic and Mr. Tactfulness. Proven effective in my school and work back then in Switzerland.

Things makes sense now why I met in Switzerland this friend from Indonesia... who knew it'll be him who will give me tips on this. He'll be starting his work in AIDA cruises in a couple of months. And it does make more sense why I was on a cruise last year, so I have tons of ideas how the work will seem to be. *Crossing fingers now*

The pay is pretty okay. But aside from the datung, the benefits will not be limited to what the eyes can see and what the hands can hold...

I have been eyeing this...
Shangri-la at the Fort by 2014

If all plans go well (plans according to my current wavelength of thinking on a hot 37 degree afternoon, and if by then I'd consider settling already in Manila at the age of 26 or 27), I'd be one of the best suited candidates to work there by that time. And also considering that there's a condominium 5 minute walk away where I can live on my own, its going to be great.

As far as I can analyze the bits and pieces of this... This plan sounds good, but still I'm open to what better things life will offer me.
If it's not difficult, it is not funny. There are just things that happens in our life and for a period of time we don't understand why, but in the right time... we'll understand everything.

Life will be very very sweet. Life is good. Awesome.

Trying not to get too excited now.
Who knows... in a few weeks then I might think of a Plan C. LOL.
And I still need to give the French Consul some rubbin' n' lovin' next week.

Egg Lovin

It was another Saturday night spent in my room alone, alone with my friend… my BFF.

It struck me that I have been very much alone lately, alone in my room, for a lot of times, with my computer turned on. I have put all my eggs in a basket… All my trust to a friend… and the moment life made its move, it moved us apart… and I can define it right now that technology is not cutting it anymore.

“Holala BFF !… miss na kita... uwi ka na”

Oh last night, it made realize how I damned missed him very much… Oh the things I would do for us to spend a wee Saturday night on a wendy’s, jollibee or a fastfood somewhere and make the night fun. Telling him to go home when gee, I do know for a fact that indeed he cannot for legit reasons. And enjoy life over a simple meal... and the adventures that came after. LOL

The conversations that we plan to be in the future… the future executives, leaders of society, filthy rich, packed with success, oozing with power at our own rights, and of course the hunky hunky super hunky beau guys that we will be… and then we will go to an Atlantis event where I’ll be the actor and he will hold the camera. Hahaha.

ohh the visions we envisioned.

The people of interests we talk about and how to pursue them. Coincidences about the people we met and how it proved that indeed, it’s a small world after all. Oh the guys we talked about, gee… the long list of the guys we talked about… Gee… Just when I see a guy and he tells me ahead that he dated/talked/communicated with that guy before now he tells me that what I should know. Hahaha. He was always 10 steps ahead of me in this category.

Oh the full hour we spent talking just about the fabulousity and genius that was Alexander McQueen and Lady Gaga over a serving of Nachos in a food court, and how we tried to dance Bad Romance over there as if the place became the Bath Haus of Gaga.

How I appreciated the pleasure of someone talking direct to my face on what I am becoming… someone to tell me without hesitation that I’m becoming mayabang, someone to tell me na “nagiging emo ka na masyado to the point na nakakainis ka na, bye”, someone to give me an idea of the ideal date, and how he will make contra to those who I am engaging with by giving me an honest and different angle at situations I put myself into.

Someone who was my mirror to make me see what needs some grooming.

Fair enough, last September we decided to meet up in Barcelona for a grand BFF meetup and para maghasik ng kabalahuraan at kabalasubasan (as we say it sometimes) hahaha, so I booked up tickets and apartments to stay and made it extra long… well, fair enough that I wasn’t disappointed at all that he wasn’t able to show up.

Having him not around taught me how to become my own best friend, me functioning the functions of someone who would be my own true friend. But well, the burger just doesn’t seem to have that same juicy savory taste. And geeee…

If I were the Little Prince who searched all over the universe for the right kind of sheep, visited each planet he stumbled upon on, then right now I’d smile having the feeling of finding the right kind… but feel uneasy with the idea that well… he ain’t here !

All my eggs in a basket, now that I’m aware of it… restrategize, as we would say… I think I should spread some egg lovin. Holala!
